"The Academy is Goodlettsville's Premier Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts School. The Academy was established in year 2013. Owner /Head Instructor Jason Matherley is a second degree black belt under Professor Shawn Hammonds, and The Academy is a current Team Shawn Hammonds affiliate. With over 10, 000 sq ft our state of the art facility is home to over 8 black belts and counting. We have beginner classes in Jiu JItsu for those just getting started on their journey, or advanced classes for those wanting to compete and challenge themselves at the highest level. We also offer MMA classes for those wanting to work their stand up or possibly step in the cage. Please don't take our word for it, come in and check us out."
